In-App Assistant and AI Processing
When you use the in-app assistant, the content needed to answer your question — which may include your message and relevant context from your stack, quiz responses, routine, and dashboard — is sent to our third-party AI provider (Google, via the Gemini API) to generate a response. This processing happens on our servers through a secure function and is subject to the AI provider’s terms and privacy practices. We do not use your content to train third-party AI models, and we ask our providers not to use it for that purpose where such controls are available.
Please avoid entering information you would not want processed by an AI service, and remember that assistant responses are for general informational purposes only and are not medical advice.
How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:
- Service providers — with vendors who help us operate the Service, such as our hosting and database provider (Supabase), our AI provider (Google), authentication providers (such as Google and Apple Sign-In), and analytics or infrastructure providers, each acting on our behalf
- App store and payments — purchases are processed by the Apple App Store; we receive subscription status but not your full payment details
- Legal compliance — to comply with applicable law or respond to valid legal requests
- Protection of rights — to protect the rights, privacy, safety, or property of Above Capital, our users, or others
- With your consent — at your direction or with your permission
Data Security
We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Your account data is encrypted in transit and at rest through our hosting provider. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the Service. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us, after which we will delete or anonymize your information except where we are required to retain it to comply with legal obligations.
